Chonky Fox oil pastel drawing

The past 4 months have been exceptionally challenging on my end. Without going in too much detail, we were victims of arson. Aimed at our neighbour, someone targeted the wrong house (ours). This whole frightening ordeal rendered us without shoes and jackets for example, which I had to purchase all over again. But besides the easily replaceable stuff, we also lost our sense of safety, our sense of security. I already struggled with PTSD from previous life events. I really didn't need this added to it. Alas, we have had to deal with a lot.

Now, after nearly 4 months, most of the reconstruction work has been finished. We still need to do a lot in and around the house, but for the most part, you can't see and/or smell what's happened.

I have not been able to use my PC the past 4 months. I am lucky in the sense that I already had a Steam Deck, several Switches, and hubby got me a Switch 2 (hello Pokopia ❤️) for our anniversary in May. So I certainly had enough to distract myself with. But I miss my PC so much.

I've not been able to work, game, draw, stream etc on my PC. Even checking and answering e-mail has been challenging. I'm sorry if you e-mailed me and expected a reply from me in the past few months. I had a valid reason, but I still feel guilty.

Yesterday we finished some work on our office. And I ordered a new keyboard and mouse among other things! I will slowly move back into the office in August. Of course, it's also the summer break. So I'l  spend some time outside But I'm thinking come September I should be all caught up or ready to get started with my blog stuff, new games and DLCs I need to review, e-mail, and I'l  start preparing for Cosytober!

For now, please enjoy this oil pastel drawing of Chonky Fox I did during the past few months.
