A big green Christmas tree, with thick red garlands, soft yellow and blue Christmas baubles, and red and white candy canes. On top of the tree is a big, soft yellow star. Underneath the tree there are two big wrapped presents. On the left a blue gift with a yellow ribbon around it. And on the right a red gift with a beige ribbon around it.

O Tannenbaum…

Basically the German title to "O Christmas Tree"

In Dutch it would be "O Dennenboom" but since the original song is German, it made more sense to go with the German title of the song.

The modern lyrics to "O Tannenbaum" were written in 1824 by the Leipzig organist, teacher and composer Ernst Anschütz. A Tannenbaum is a fir tree. The lyrics do not actually refer to Christmas, or describe a decorated Christmas tree. Instead, they refer to the fir's evergreen quality as a symbol of constancy and faithfulness.
