Around here I grew up around yellow crocuses, and I usually see them in February and March.

But all the inspiration photos for today’s prompt on the Sketch a Day app showed purple crosuses. I have never drawn either version (yellow or purple).

I figured for today’s prompt I would give the purple one a try. And I like the outcome. Maybe I should draw and paint more flowers.
