Back in August 2021, I got myself a second Nintendo Switch. The reason? I really wanted the Animal Crossing edition, and on top of that, I really wanted a second island to play with.

I had very few requirements when it came to starters, fruit and the likes. But I did not want pears as my island fruit (nor did I want peaches, since I already had those on my other island).

It soon became a bit of a meme within my community. And when I went to a friend's house, many of my friends brought a pear to tease me. At least my youngest enjoyed them. xD
